Two shot, others bound in home invasion

Wentworth - On Tuesday night, at about 9:05, the Sheriff’s Office received a call of “gunshot victims” at 1500 NC65 in Wentworth. Upon arrival, deputies found eight Hispanics bound inside the residence, and two others shot in the lower body.

According to the victims, a black male entered their residence, armed with a semi-automatic handgun and wearing all black clothing. His face was mostly covered, but he appeared to be young. His motive appeared to be robbery.

When he left, he took a vehicle belonging to one of the victims. It is described as a 2001 Ford Explorer “Sport Truck”, white in color and bearing a North Carolina registration of WRN 9504.

The condition of the gunshot victims is unknown as they continue to receive emergency treatment at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

An investigation of this incident is underway and detectives ask anyone with information to call 634-3232 or Crimestoppers of Rockingham County at 349-9683 for a reward up to $1,000 for confidential information.

How does one armed man tie up "eight" people and shoot two others. What were the other seven doing when he was tying up the first one? Did he tie them up with one hand or did he have to put the gun down to tie them up? Something about this story is very "fishy".
